MORRIS PARK COMMUNITY – This week, P.S. 83’s Chorus Crew sang Christmas classic-songs up and down the Morris Park and Pelham Parkway community! It took place at the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Our lovely-singing Chorus Crew was chosen in early November. Now, almost a full month later, they sang Christmas classics in the community. They sang so many songs, such as “We Wish You A Merry Christmas (And A Happy New Year),” “White Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” “Jingle Bells,” and so many other beloved holiday songs! “It was great fun to sing here,” says a Chorus Crew member. “I really love to sing, and just being able to sing Christmas songs with others like me who enjoy to sing was really nice!” After the tree lighting (sponsored by Senetor Jeff Klein and Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj), they got to take a ride on the Gjonaj/Klein bus  and took a sleigh-ride up and down the community, which was when they got to sing!
